Canterbury Forum: Who are the Presbyterians?

Sunday, April 21, at 7:00 PM CDT the Canterbury Forum will host a program exploring American Presbyterianism. The Rev. John Janssen, pastor of Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls, IA, will introduce us to the man who along with Martin Luther in the 16th century shaped the Protestant Reformation, John Calvin, the originator of the Reformed tradition in Protestantism and Presbyterianism's theological heritage. Rev. Janssen will then examine the development of Presbyterianism in America up to the present day, and what makes Presbyterianism distinct within the multitude of traditions in modern American Protestantism.

The program will be presented on Zoom, and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about this important strand within our country's religious diverse faith traditions.
