Engage

How do we move out of our comfort zones to engage beyond our community?

Moving out of our comfort zone helps us to engage with new people and work to find new ways to be Christ for one another.

We work in many ways to reach out to the extended community. Film talk and Canterbury Forum are ways to openly discuss issues of the day. These are groups open to the general community.

Women of Faith Ecumenical dinners are gatherings that help us engage with women in multiple religions and faiths.  Cedar Valley Pridefest is another opportunity for us to show the LGBTQ community that "God Loves You. No Exceptions!"

In August, we set up a booth at Pridefest and offer our support and love to all.

We have had missions to Nicaragua and regularly interact with our diocesan companion churches in Brechen, Scotland, Swaziland and South Sudan

Spreading God's love means we go where others won't. We feel our church's future depends on our ability to expand where we are greatly needed, even though that may be out of our comfort zone.
